Organisation Objectives – Biodiversity Conservation

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF ORGANISATION ARE

To provide opportunities to the local communities to be actively involved towards the resolutions of Biodiversity Conservation problems in Kenya
To Prevent all forms of cruelty to animals and holistically improve animals’ welfare in Kenya
To empower, education and sensitize the local communities with education on Animal Rights – animals have rights to live not to be mishandled!
To develop practical, innovative programs that protect and restore key wildlife species and habitats while addressing the concerns of those who share the land and its resources
To undertake a holistic approach towards biodiversity conservation that encompasses all the stakeholders, particularly school children and local communities.
To Protection of biodiversity through tree planting and environmental conservation strategies for the benefit of the present and future generations
To establish tree nurseries for the regeneration and restoration of degraded areas in Kenya
To mitigate the effects of global warming & climate change in Kenya through action-based advocacy, capacity building, awareness raising and holistic approaches
To promote advocacy on issues related to biodiversity conservation & animals rights in Kenya
To sensitize the public in recognizing the value of protecting & conserving wildlife heritage and biodiversity in Kenya.
To promote & enhance conservation of wildlife and their habitats in different biodiversity hot spots in Kenya.
To enhance conservation of wetlands and marine biodiversity
To advocate for the proper use of the natural resource through protection hence enhance peace and coexistence among the local communities
To enhance and promote local communities’ participation in peace building and conflict mitigation in Kenya
To develop practical, innovative programs that protect and restore key wildlife species and habitats while addressing the concerns of those who share the land and its resources
To support vulnerable and socially deprived local community members especially (children, women & youths) through sustainable development projects
To implement water and sanitation projects in different parts of the country especially schools as a measure to enhance schools environmental health
To improve the conservation of biodiversity through scientific, management, educational and training programmes.
To establish sustainable development projects for marginalized communities through’ economic empowerment in different parts of Kenya
To promote partnership/ cooperation between like-minded individuals and organizations
